POLISH AND SLOVAK TEENAGERS AND TEACHERS COOPERATION PRESERVING THE CULTURAL VALUES OF THE BORDERLAND REGIONS
On the twenty-second of February we had our first lesson of the Slovak language with two very nice teachers from Slovakia, Miss Stanislava Hruskova and Mrs Ingrid Malcanova. As it was the first lesson our headmaster helped us learn a little. At the beginning of the lesson the teachers introduced themselves and we were given some educational materials.
We started from the very elementary things such as introducing ourselves, the alphabet, the pronunciation of particular letters and words and the verb “to be”. Fortunately, there were no problems with the language barrier.
The Slovak language turned out to be very interesting and not as difficult as most of us had thought. We are looking forward to the next lesson!
