POLISH AND SLOVAK TEENAGERS AND TEACHERS COOPERATION PRESERVING THE CULTURAL VALUES OF THE BORDERLAND REGIONS
On the 5th and 6th of November there were theatre workshops organised in Kraków in the Groteska Theatre. It was the last planned enterprise in the project called POLISH AND SLOVAK TEENAGERS AND TEACHERS COOPERATION PRESERVING THE CULTURAL VALUES OF THE BORDERLAND REGIONS.
The teenagers could see how it is to ‘be the actor’, feel how you ‘feel on stage’, play some simple roles, see how a mask is built and how a puppeteer works. Both Polish and Slovak students had really great time. By the end of the day they took part in a pantomime play called ‘Hommage a Chagall’. It was a very emotional event for them.
The participants also went sightseeing and, among other interesting places such as the Old Town, The Market Square, the Florianska Gate, Mariacki Church and Collegium Maius, they also visited the new underground Museum of the Market Square of Kraków opened under the Market Square.
During the time of the project the students have got to know each other very well. The ‘goodbye’ meeting at the Market Square in Muszyna was very long and effusive. The acquaintance and friendship will last through the e-mail and sms contacts. And maybe not only through them…..
